BENEFITS
About Lumecca Peak IPL at Etica Clinic
Lumecca Peak IPL offers a powerful solution by using Intense Pulsed Light to target deeper layers of the skin. The light is absorbed by pigmented or vascular lesions, drawing them to the surface where they naturally shed. Thread veins may darken temporarily before fading. The heat also stimulates collagen production, improving overall skin tone, firmness, and texture.

Is Lumecca Peak Safe?
Yes – Lumecca Peak IPL is FDA-approved for treating Fitzpatrick skin types I–IV. At Etica Clinic, all treatments begin with a consultation to determine your suitability and to create a bespoke treatment plan. We do not treat recently tanned skin or Fitzpatrick types V–VI with Lumecca Peak for safety reasons.
FAQ
When will I see results?
Most clients notice visible improvements after just one or two sessions. Skin continues to improve as collagen production increases in the weeks following treatment.
What areas can be treated with Lumecca Peak?
Lumecca Peak IPL can be used on most areas of the face and body. Common treatment zones include the face, neck, décolletage, hands, arms, and legs—particularly where sun damage or discolouration is most visible.
Lumecca Peak is most effective for individuals with fair to medium skin tones who experience pigmentation, redness, or vascular lesions on the face or body. It is not recommended for tanned skin or Fitzpatrick skin types V–VI. Treatment is also not advised during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Can I have this treatment if I’ve recently tanned?
No. Recent sun exposure or tanning can reduce the effectiveness and increase the risk of side effects. We advise waiting until your natural skin tone has returned before treatment.
Is there any downtime?
Lumecca Peak is a non-invasive treatment with minimal downtime. You may experience mild redness or darkening of treated pigmentation, which fades as the skin naturally renews.
